The state’s cumulative solar generation capacity now stands at approximately 1,027.87 megawatts (MW), reflecting strong efforts to promote clean energy and strengthen local energy security.

The state’s solar capacity expansion has been driven by a diverse mix of projects. Ground-mounted solar plants contribute a significant portion of the total, while rooftop solar installations under national and state schemes, such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, have played a crucial role in encouraging residential adoption.
